Body of Missing 13-year Old Girl and a Boy Found in Brahmaputra River

The girl, identified as Juhi Das, had gone missing from her residence in the Garigaon area since December 25.

The bodies of a 13-year-old girl and a boy were found floating in the Brahmaputra River in Guwahati on December 27 morning.

The girl, identified as Juhi Das, had gone missing from her residence in the Garigaon area since December 25.

According to her family, Juhi was allegedly abducted by a man named Hirakjyoti Das, who worked as a school van driver. Disturbingly, Hirakjyoti’s body was also discovered this morning in the same river.

Police investigations revealed CCTV footage from December 25, showing Juhi walking alongside Hirakjyoti as they left her house together, adding a puzzling dimension to the tragic case.

While the circumstances surrounding their deaths remain unclear, the families demand a thorough investigation into the events leading to this incident.
