The stalemate in Assam’s Bodoland University still continues with the latest round of talks between Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and the Bodoland University community remaining inconclusive.

Agitating members of the university community met Chief Minister Sonowal in Guwahati on Monday.

During the meeting the chief minister had assured of looking into the grievances of the students.

However, the agitating students sticked to their demands of appointing a permanent VC and will decide on the future course of action in an executive meeting of the Bodoland University Students Union scheduled to be held tomorrow.
