BJP Protests Across Assam Over Alleged Manhandling of Deputy Speaker by Congress MLA
The BJP is up in arms against the alleged manhandling of Deputy Speaker Numal Momin by Congress MLA Nurul Huda and others in the Assam Assembly premises yesterday. Today, district BJP units across the state are staging protest demanding strong action against the congress MLA. Taking part in the state-wide BJP protest, Cachar BJP staged a demonstration and burnt Nurul Huda’s effigy in Silchar. Party workers marched through the city holding effigies of Huda and shouted slogans.
