BJP MLAs Delegation Urges Manipur Governor to Accelerate Peace Talks Between Meitei and Kuki-Zo Communities

A 7 member BJP MLA delegation called on Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla and urged him to accelerate the peace dialogue between the Meitei and the Kuki-Zo communities. Addressing the press at the BJP headquarters in Imphal, MLA Kh Ibomcha, who was part of the delegation, said the MLAs have urged the Governor to take the peace process forward. Claiming that the President’s rule has fall short of the expectation set by the people, MLA Ibomcha said the legislators have urged the Governor Bhalla to take appropriate actions against those involved in provocative acts against various communities.
