The BJP has made a thundering comeback in Uttar Pradesh with the Yogi juggernaut while leading in a total of 265 seats out of 403 seats putting the saffron party in a comfortable position as of now.
The Modi-Yogi combo has worked wonders in Uttar Pradesh with Samajwadi Party managing to secure the lead in just 131 seats.
Congress and the Bahujan Samaj Party have got a major thrashing today with both parties managing to win just 3 and 2 seats respectively.
While the main contest was clearly between the Yogi Adityanath led BJP and the Akhilesh Yadav led Samajwadi Party, the saffron wave has become apparent today with BJP retaining power in Uttar Pradesh.
