Amid all out efforts to bring peace in the state, Manipur Lok Sabha MP Bimol Akoijam has accused the government of communalizing the state institutions. Akoijam alleged that since the state institutions are being allegedly communalized, as a result there are splits in those institutions. This he said in response to Manipur cabinet minister and NPF leader Awangbow Newmai’s statement that Congress did nothing to stop the conflict between the Nagas and the Kukis back in 1993.
