Assam’s Cricket Infrastructure Gets a Major Upgrade with New Stadium in Amingaon, First Match on March 6

Amingaon in North Guwahati is soon to get a swanky new cricket stadium which will act as a new feather in the cap of Assam’s cricket infrastructure. The stadium, being constructed at Dekabari undert the aegis of the Assam Cricket Association is nearing completion with an all new pavillion and cricket academy. In fact, the stadium will be hosting its first match on March 6 which will be the BCCI’s Under-23 Knockout Tournament. This was announced by BCCI secretary Devajit Lone Saikia who visited the stadium and took stock of the progress of work there.
