The highly anticipated Assamese film that had hit a roadblock just before its release, garnered an impressive Rs 1.4 crore in the first 4 days of its release on June 5. The movie was to hit the screens on June 2 but due to a court case the release on June 2 was stayed.

Sri Raghupati,’ with Ravi Sharma in the laed role, has taken the box office by storm even before the weekend. With an astounding collection of Rs 1.4 crores within the first four days of its release, the movie has surpassed all expectations, leaving industry insiders astonished.

Here’s the break-up of the box office collection for Sri Raghupati:
Day 1: ₹17 lakhs
Day 2: ₹38.8 lakhs
Day 3: ₹41.7 lakhs
Day 4: ₹43 lakhs

‘Sri Raghupati’ revolves around the character Raghupati Rai Baruah, an ACS officer known for his sincerity and diligence. He embarks on a daring mission to rescue missing women. During his investigation, he uncovers a women trafficking racket, leading to increasingly complex situations.

The cast of the movie also includes Preety Kongana, Priyam Pallavi, Siddhartha Sarma, Arun Nath, and Arun Hazarika. The film is directed by Suvrat Kakoty.
