For the first time in the history of Assamese cinema, ‘Porichoy’, a movie directed by Rajiv Borthakur and produced by Riniki Bhuyan Sharma under the banner of Prideeast Entertainments Pvt Ltd has bagged three awards in the 13th Jaipur International Film Festival 2021.

In the 13th edition of the JIFF, the film has bagged awards in three categories—Best Women Film, Yellow Rose (For upcoming Filmworld Premier) and Special Jury Mention.

“Heartfelt thanks to Jaipur International Film Festival for selecting our movie ‘Porichoy’ for the prestigious three categories. The five-day digital edition of the 13th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) concluded on Tuesday. Thousands of people from India and abroad watched around 266 movies from 44 countries that were screened online at JIFF-2021.
