Assam youth goes missing in Andhra Pradesh, wife with 2-year-old son helpless

It has been 10 days, there is no trace of Rubul Orang, the sole bread earner for his family. His wife and their two-and-six-month-old son are hoping that he returns

A youth from Assam, Rubul Orang, a resident of Tingkhang Bamunbari, who was on way to Kerala for job, has gone missing. It’s been 10 days now, there is no trace of Rubul who went missing on September 26 from Andhra Pradesh’s Vishakhapatnam station on way to Kerala.

Rubul Orang started his journey to Kerala on September 23. For the first three days, he was in touch with his family members through phone calls. However, upon reaching Andhra Pradesh’s Vishakhapatnam station, he went missing. His family members informed that his phone was switched off.

The family immediately alerted the police, but there has been no sign of Rubul yet. Rubul is the sole breadwinner for his wife and their two-and-six-month-old son.

Rubul Orang’s wife shared her anguish, saying, “On September 23, Saturday, he boarded the train from Guwahati station at around 6 p.m. He called me to let me know. He called me on Sunday, and on Monday at 7 am. However, after that, his phone is switched off. I pray for his safe return home.”
