Amit’s father works as a vegetable vendor in Rongpur area of Silchar town and his mother works as a house-help.
Though his family wanted him to help provide for the family, Amit had different dreams.
His love for education and dedication towards fulfilling his dreams brought him success this year in the Higher Secondary Examination.
Amit aims to become an English Professor.
