Assam: Two killed in truck-motorcycle collision in Umrangso

The incident took place at 26 KM mark at Umrangso in the district.
In a tragic incident, two people died after a dumper truck hit their motorcycle in Assam’s Dima Hasao district on Saturday.
The incident took place at 26 KM mark at Umrangso in the district.
The deceased have been identified as Clarson Hanse (17), resident of Sikalangso village in Umrongso and Pabitra Bey (39), hails from Chengbong village at Kheroni in West Karbi Anglong district.
As per sources, the bikers were heading to the Kheroni.
After receiving information about accident, the Umrangso police immediately reached the scene, recovered the bodies of the victims and sent them for post-mortem.
Further investigation is underway.
