Probe into the twin murders in Assam’s moving trains has intensified with Assam Police CID launching investigation into the murder incident at Mariani in Assam’s Jorhat district.
Top Assam Police official along with the dog squad of the CID carried out search throughout the night in the Awadh Assam Express where a body of a middle-aged woman was recovered from the toilet of the Goods Coach of the train.
Meanwhile, the Coach of the Rangia-Dibrugarh Express, from where the body of 21-year-old Assam Agriculture University girl student was recovered, was brought to the Simaluguri Railway Junction.
Officials of Railway Protection Force along with Sivasagar police are carrying out intensive investigation into the case to develop some possible clue from the coach to help them get a breakthrough into the gruesome murder case of the university girl.
