Assam transport dept asks vehicle owners to pay dues, digitize licence, other docus

DTO Gautam Das urged those who could not pay their outstanding taxes in the last 2 years to pay the taxes on concessions

The Assam State Transport Department has asked all the owners of private vehicles and transport operators with unpaid taxes to clear their dues and digitise their driving licences and other documents related to their vehicles by tomorrow.

Speaking to the media, district transport officer (DTO) (Licensing and Registration), Kamrup (metro), Gautam Das, advised vehicle owners to digitize their driving licenses and other related papers online by tomorrow to complete the process.

Das also urged those who could not pay their outstanding taxes in the last 2 years to pay the taxes on concessions.
