Assam: Teenager’s body recovered from Gaurang River

The victim, identified as Sunswarang Narzary, was the son of Nikolas Narzary and Rupola Narzary

In a tragic incident, the body of Sunswarang Narzary, a student of St. Ann’s College, Kokrajhar, studying in Class 11 in Chirang District Koila Moila, was discovered in the Gaurang River today morning.

He was the son of Nikolas Narzary and Rupola Narzary.

According to sources, Sunswarang Narzary and seven of his friends had gone to the Gaurang River for a leisurely bath. While seven of his companions safely returned to the hostel, Sunswarang Narzary remained unaccounted for.

The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
