Amlan Borgohain secured two gold medals in the men's 100-meter and 200-meter races and Hima Das clinched the gold medal in the women’s 200-meter race at the same event
Assam sprinters Amlan Borgohain and Hima Das have once again made their state proud with their remarkable performances in the field of athletics.
Amlan Borgohain secured two gold medals in the men’s 100-meter and 200-meter races at the 3rd Indian Grand Prix held at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
Hima Das clinched the gold medal in the women’s 200-meter race at the same event.
Amlan Borgohain’s timing of 10.50 seconds for the 100-meter and 21.22 seconds for the 200-meter secured him the top position in both categories. Hima Das, on the other hand, finished the women’s 200-meter race in 23.77 seconds, leaving her competitors trailing behind.
