The Miao Battalion, Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, organized Unity and Peace Rallies at Miao, Kharsang, Namsai and Diyun in Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the Sons of the Soil Remembrance Week dedicated in the memory of Late Rifleman Avatar Chakma, Posthumous. The rallies, synchronized across all four locations, drew as many as 3000 participants from all walks of life underscoring the event’s role as a poignant homage to the courageous sacrifices made by our forebears and as a unifying force amidst our differences.
