Assam reels under severe floods, rail services adversely affected

Rail services connecting Lumding and Silchar has been suspended following heavy floods accompanied by landslides in several parts of Assam. Rail services between Guwahati-Agartala, and Guwahati-Silchar has been suspended. Only

Rail services connecting Lumding and Silchar has been suspended following heavy floods accompanied by landslides in several parts of Assam.

Rail services between Guwahati-Agartala, and Guwahati-Silchar has been suspended. Only rail services between Guwahati and Lumding is still on.

On the other hand the administration has cancelled ferry services in the Barak valley.
