With protests continuing in the state against the Citizenship Amendment Bill, the Assam Police has issued an advisory requesting all stakeholders of society not to believe in disinformation spread by mischievous elements attempting to spread hate messages and fake news in regards to the proposed Citizenship bill.

The Assam Police has further requested the citizens to apprise it of any such content in social media through the social media or through its WhatsApp Helpline number – 91326 99735.
