Assam: Police cracks ITI student murder case, 3 including prime accused arrested

In a significant breathrough, the police has cracked the sensational murder case of ITI student Geremsa Narzary in Assam’s Kokrajhar district. During thorough probe, the police accessed crucial leads which clearly indicated that the student was murdered owing to personal enmity evolving out of a financial transaction between the accused and the victim.
Soon police thereafter arrested the prime accused involved in the murder of the 19-year-old youth, a student of ITI Gossaigaon. The prime accused has been identified as Pritviraj Narzary.
Pritiviraj Rajkhowa, Additional SP of Kokrajhar told reporters that two more accused both juvenile have been arrested in connection to the murder case. The Additional SP added that preliminary investigation suggested it to be personal enmity related to financial transaction.
A case has been registered under relevant sections under the IPC.
“We have produced him before the court and will complete all the formalities necessary for further investigation. There was old rivalry between them, they had personal enmity owing to financial transaction. So far this has come to light in the preliminary investigation. The financial transaction was done for sale and purchase of a mobile phone,” ASP Rajkhowa informed.
Geremsa Narzary, a 19-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Magurmari Lalmati Tea Garden under Kokrajhar police station in Assam’s Kokrajhar district yesterday.
The youth’s body was recovered from a ditch inside the tea garden. Geremsa was a student of ITI Gossaigaon.
