Two IRBn jawans were apprehended by Assam Police on Monday at Banderdewa for possession of contraband item.
9 vials and 2 packets of suspected heroin, two mobile phones with sim cards along with cash and a four-wheeler were seized from their possession.
According to sources, both jawans are from the 3rd IRBN Headquarters located at Seijosa and are posted at SBI Naharlagun and Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Office in Itanagar respectively.
