Assam: Over 13 Lakh Aspirants Take Final Phase Exams for 5,023 ADRE Grade IV Posts Today

The final phase of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examinations (ADRE) is underway, with over 13 lakh candidates vying for 5,023 Grade IV posts across various state government departments.

To ensure a secure examination process, mobile internet services have been suspended statewide from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM to prevent any malpractices.

Examinations are being held across 28 districts in two phases based on candidates’ educational qualifications.

Examinations commenced with the first batch from 9 AM to 12 PM. The second batch is scheduled for 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

The first shift, with approximately 8,27,000 candidates, is intended for matriculates, while the second shift, expecting around 5,52,000 candidates, is for those with educational qualifications below matriculation.

Among the 5,023 vacancies, there are 1,088 positions for HSLC graduates, 1,833 for HSLC+Industrial Training Institute (ITI) degree holders, and 2,102 for candidates who have completed Class 8.

The first phase of ADRE Grade III posts was conducted on September 15.

The second phase of ADRE Grade III posts was conducted on September 29.
