In a horrific incident, a mother of four children has been reportedly raped and murdered in Margherita in Assam.
The woman, a resident of Inthem Gaon under the Pengeri police station, was returning after attending local Bhaona programme in a nearby village.
She went missing on her way back home and later the woman’s body was recovered.
The incident has sent shockwaves in the region with locals alleging it to be a case of rape. Meanwhile, police investigations are underway.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Ministers of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Tripura.
