In a shocking incident of mob attack, a group of miscreants thrashed two young girls and a man identified as Jalaluddin Sheikh at Krishnai in Assam’s Goalpara district.

The unfortunate incident occurred when the trio were on their way to visit their relative in Krishnai. The two girls hailing from Meghalaya had come to visit Jalaluddin.

However, police soon reached the spot and rescued the victims who were admitted to a nearby hospital. Two accused have been arrested by police.
