Sensation prevails at the electricity board office premises of Puranigodam in Assam’s Nagaon district.

In a sensational incident, a group of miscreants entered into the Electricity Board control room and assaulted the officials there on Monday night. Two officials were seriously injured in the attack.

It is being suspected that the attack was carried out over the constant daily load shedding of electricity in the region by the Electricity Board.

The attack is suspected to be a warning to stop the load shedding in the region.
