Assam: Minor Girl, Athlete of National Repute, Allegedly Raped By 3 Men in Sivasagar

In a shocking incident, a minor girl, an athlete of national repute, was allegedly abducted and raped by three men in Assam’s Sivasagar district.

As per inputs, the incident occurred on Friday afternoon (November 22), when the accused abducted the minor from Shikaribheti area in a car.

Following the incident, a complaint has been filed at the Dimou Police Station.

Based on complaint, Sivasagar police have arrested two persons, identified as Sunil and Bhaiti. Meanwhile, the third accused is on the run.

Currently, the victim is undergoing treatment at the Sivasagar Civil Hospital.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage in Sivasagar, with the public demanding swift arrest of those involved.
