Despite call for a stop to crime against women, a miscreant allegedly tried to rape a 13-year-old girl at Basistha area of Guwahati. The accused identified as one Anwar Islam
Despite call for a stop to crime against women, a miscreant allegedly tried to rape a 13-year-old girl at Basistha area of Guwahati.
The accused identified as one Anwar Islam hailing from Karimganj district tried to rape the girl while she was alone at her home.
However, the victim soon raised an alarm following which locals came for her rescue. The accused who had escaped after the incident was later arrested by the police.
