Assam: Kaziranga National Park and Orang National Park to reopen tomorrow for tourists

Preparations are also in full swing within the national park to accommodate the expected influx of visitors.

As the 2024-25 wildlife tourism season kicks off, the world famous Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve and the Orang National Park will in Assam will re-open from tomorrow for tourists.

The parks remain closed from May to October each year due to rains and the risk of flooding by the Brahmaputra River.

As the parks get ready to reopen, authorities are ensuring everything is in place for a safe and enjoyable visit.

The opening ceremony tomorrow at Kaziranga will be attended by ministers Atul Bora, Chandramohan Patowary and Keshab Mahanta.
