In a sensational recovery, as many as 11 hand grenades were recovered from India-Bhutan bordering town of Tamulpur in Assam’s Baksa district.
Residents of the area spotted the sack containing these 11 grenades buried in a pool of mud.
Police rushed to the spot immediately on receiving information about it and recovered the grenades.
It is yet to be ascertained as to how many of the recovered grenades are live.
