Assam COVID-19 Update: 92 patients discharged from hospital

On Monday, 92 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from different hospitals in Assam. They have been discharged after they tested negative twice for COVID-19, informed Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“92 patients have been discharged today after they tested negative for #COVID twice. Kalapahar 46; MMCH 22; TMC 13; JMCH 07; FAAMCH 02; SMCH 01; AMCH 01,” Sarma tweeted.

(Total Discharged Patients – 277, Active Patients – 1106)

Among the discharged patients, 46 people are from Kalapahar hospital in Guwahati, 22 from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH), 13 from Tezpur Medical College and Hospital (TMC), 7 from Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH), 2 from Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed College and Hospital (FAAMCH) at Barpeta, 1 each from Silchar Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) and Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) at Dibrugarh.

With the discharge of 92 patients, the number of recovered people in the State has increased to 277. While Assam has reported total 1390 COVID-19 cases, currently there are 1106 active patients in the State.
