Assam CM meets his Nagaland counterpart Neiphiu Rio, discusses ways to maintain unity and peace between both states

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today met his Nagaland counterpart Neiphiu Rio in Dimapur, Nagaland.

The duo held a crucial meeting. During the meeting, they discussed ways how to work together more closely and extend their efforts to maintain peace and harmony between the two states.

“Had an excellent meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Nagaland Shri Neiphiu Rio ji at Dimapur. We discussed ways to deepen our collaboration and expand our engagements towards continued peace and harmony between both our States. @Neiphiu_Rio,” Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma posted on X.

Earlier in the day before leaving for Dimapur, CM Sarma said that he will hold discussions with CM Neiphiu Rio regarding thigs related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Assam Chief Minister will spend the night in Dimapur today and he will be returning to Guwahati tomorrow.
