Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has reiterated his government’s zero tolerance on infiltration. Speaking at an event, Chief Minister Sarma said that he never intends to see any infiltrator at any cost in his state and also backed the government action taken so far against such individuals who are illegally staying in Assam. Chief Minister Sarma insisted that NRC is a must to combat illegal infiltration. The Assam Chief Minister further maintained that his government has been taking timely steps and pushing back infiltrators especially those who have entered from Bangladesh.
