Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Launches Atmanirbhar Assam 2.0 to Boost Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today formally kicked off the second phase of self dependecy campaign known as Atmanirbhar Assam 2.0. The second phase of the campaign focuses on providing self employment to all categories of educated youth through suitable mechanism. The campaign also seeks to create an entrepreneurial oriented ecosystem in the state. The objectives of Atmanirbhar Assam also include generating employment opportunities in rural and urban areas through setting up of new ventures and thereby strengthening the government’s focus on rural economy.
