Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the collaborative efforts between the Assam government and the BTR leadership.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised the collaborative efforts between the Assam government and the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) leadership, emphasising their role in fostering peace and driving development in the region.
In a post on X, CM Sarma remarked, “Team BTR and Team Assam are together charting new heights of development in the Bodoland region and are transforming it into a land of peace and prosperity.”
His comments were in response to a post by Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), who highlighted the start of the Winter Session of the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly (BTCLA). Boro shared updates on ongoing efforts to build a “Peaceful, Smart, and Green BTR” alongside EMs and MCLAs at the Bodoland Secretariat.
Acknowledging CM Sarma’s message, CEM Pramod Boro wrote, “Under your visionary guidance, Hon’ble CM @himantabiswa Ji, BTR is witnessing a new era of peace, unprecedented growth, and development. We remain committed to fulfilling the aspirations of the people of BTR.”
The exchange reflects the strong partnership between the Assam government and BTR leaders in addressing the aspirations of the people and ensuring sustained progress in the region.
