Assam Bypolls 2024: Is Congress Not Confident Enough of a Victory in Samaguri?
Well, once considered the undisputed king from the Assembly constituency, Congress MP Rakibul Hussain, who has won the seat 5 times, is now casting doubts over the sanctity of EVMs. With his son Tanjil Hussain contesting from Samaguri on a Congress ticket, Rakibul Hussain stated that the victory margin will be massive if the polls are free from any discrepancy, however, no one can guarantee the result if the EVMs are tampered with.
