Assam: Border Police arrests 6 Bangladeshi nationals in Kokrajhar

The Assam Border Police has arrested as many as 6 declared Bangladeshi Nationals from different parts of Gossaigaon in Assam’s Kokrajhar.

The arrested Bangladeshi Nationals have been identified as Mohammad Samad Fakir, Mohammad Tasen Ali, Pramod Das, Shyamal Das, Majiroon Bibi and Rahitan Bibi.

Meanwhile, all the 6 arrested Bangladeshi Nationals have been lodged in a detention camp.

Notably, the arrested Bangladeshi Nationals were declared as foreigners by the Foreigners Tribunal in 2012.
