Assam Assembly Dy Speaker’s convoy hit by a car

The Deputy Speaker’s escort vehicle was hit by a car being driven by a man who was allegedly drunk

The convoy of Assam Assembly Deputy Speaker Numal Momin met with an accident last night in Padumoni tiniali, Golaghat.

As per inputs, the escort car in the Deputy Speaker’s convoy was hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. The man driving the car was allegedly drunk, sources said.

While the man sustained minor injuries in the mishap, the Deputy Speaker was safe.

Both vehicles have been damaged in the accident.
