Assam: 6 NSCKA cadres nabbed in Karbi Anglong

The leader of the newly formed militant outfit, identified as Pabitra Teron, was injured in the encounter and has been admitted to the Diphu Medical College and Hospital.

In a major breakthrough, as many as 6 cadres of the newly formed militant outfit National Socialist Council of Karbi Anglong (NSCKA) were nabbed during an encounter that broke out between the police and militant outfit this afternoon.

This was informed by Special DGP Law and Order GP Singh in a tweet.

As per reports, the leader of the newly formed militant outfit, identified as Pabitra Teron, was injured in the encounter and has been admitted to the Diphu Medical College and Hospital.

Meanwhile, police have also seized one pistol and several rounds of live bullets.
