Dibrugarh Police has arrested 55 people in connection with vandalism and violence during anti-CAA protests in the district. All the arrested persons have been sent to judicial custody.

These 55 persons have been arrested from various parts of the district on the basis of video evidences collected from CCTV cameras and mobile video clips.

Moreover, a total of 75 cases have been registered in connection with the vandalism and arson at Chabua in Dibrugarh.
