Assam: 3 killed in two separate road accidents

The fatal accidents were reported from Numaligarh and Goalpara. Two people died on the spot in a bike-scooter head-on collision and in another accident, a car collided with a truck

Three individuals were killed in two separate road accidents in Assam on Saturday.

In one accident a car collided head on with an incoming truck. One person identified as Ali Ahmed died on the spot. Several others are said to be seriously injured while one person is in critical condition.

The identity of the deceased is not known yet. Meanwhile, all the injured persons have been admitted to hospital. The accident took place in Numaligarh in Assam.

The driver of the truck fled from the scene after the accident.

In another tragic road accident, two people died on the spot in Goalparaโ€™s Krishnai area.

As per inputs, the accident took place in the Paikan-Tura National Highway when a motorcycle collided with a scooter.

The deceased have been identified as Munikha Bepari and Nimai Das.
