A total of 14 persons have suffered from food poisoning after consuming mushrooms in Assam’s Charaideo district. The incident has been reported from the Borhat Tea Estate under the Borhat police station. It is being reported that out of the 14 affected persons, the condition of five persons are stated to be serious. Several tea garden labourers had reportedly brought in wild mushrooms and had prepared a soup out of them. After consuming the mushrooms, they all fell ill. The ones whose condition is stated to be serious have been admitted at the Assam Medical College & Hospital in Dibrugarh.
