The tourism sector in Arunachal Pradesh is booming, with the State government’s focused efforts to showcase its rich natural beauty and provide self employment opportunities to local youths. As a result the state has seen a significant influx of tourist, leading to a surge in homestays. In fact, as per an estimate, there are around 6000 homestays in the state. In order to promote the culture of homestays, the government has started awarding the best homestays who provide excellent facilities to the visitors. The Reyi Homestay in Aalo in the West Siang district of the state was awarded the best homestay in the state by the tourism department. Your channel, North East Live, visited the homestay recently to check out the facilities, for which it has been awarded the best.
