An athlete from the Northeast has brought laurels to the region in the national arena. Arunachal Pradesh powerlifter Deepok Nasi has secured the first place in the prestigious National Powerlifting Championship 2024. Nasi secured the top spot in the 67 kg junior category. The event, organised by WPC India, took place in Hyderabad.
