Arunachal’s 8-Year-Old Goyir Riba Bags Gold Medal in the 10th International Taekwondo Tournament Held in Thailand

Riba defeated competitors from Thailand and Malaysia in the final round to win the medal at Poomsae in the sub-junior.

Arunachal’s Eight-year-old girl Goyir Riba from Arunachal Pradesh, representing India, won a gold medal in the 10th Tirak International Taekwondo tournament, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Riba defeated competitors from Thailand and Malaysia in the final round to win the medal at Poomsae in the sub-junior under eight-year-old category.

In the same weight and age group, Riba, a student of the Lepa-Rada Taekwondo Academy, also took home a bronze in the Kyurogi.

Additionally, coach Nyorak participated in the competition and took home bronze in the men’s senior division in both Poomsae and Kyurogi.
