Arunachal: Woman goes missing after her vehicle plunges into Pare river

A 29-year-old woman identified as Amak Dolo, of Bodo village in Sawa circle of East Kameng district has reportedly gone missing after her vehicle skidded off the road and fell into the Pare river in Arunachal Pradesh’s Papum Pare district.
Sagalee DSP Bomken Basar informed that the accident occurred at around 9:50 am at Balapu village in Sagalee ADC circle of Papum Pare.
Basar informed that the vehicle was coming from Seppa towards Itanagar, and was being driven by one Bishop Nampe (29), of Nampe village in East Kameng district.
The police informed that the vehicle veered off NH 13, fell down about 200 metres, and later fell into the Pare river.
Nampe reportedly sustained grievous injuries and was evacuated to the Sagalee CHC.
A search operation by the local police and the relatives of the missing woman is on. The NDRF has also joined the search operation, the police added.
