Arunachal Pradesh: Search for 19 missing labourers of Assam still on


There still has been no breakthrough in locating the 19 road construction workers who have been missing from the Kurung Kumey district in Arunachal Pradesh since July 5.

While the police and district administration has been conducting relentless search operations, the workers still remain untraceable.



It may be mentioned here that a 25-member team of SDRF is engaged led by the SP is engaged in search and rescue operations.



Meanwhile, Kurung Kumey DC Neghee Bengia informed that although the district administration has sought the assistance of the NDRF and the IAF from the state government to facilitate the rescue operation.

As per latest updates, the Indian Air Force has joined the search operations.
