In a breather for Arunachal Pradesh, the lone positive COVID-19 patient from the frontier state has tested negative.
As per reports accessed from the state health department the 31-year old male patient has tested negative after a third throat swab test was conducted today.
The test was carried out at the Lahowal based ICMR testing lab in Eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu informed about the development in his official twitter handle.
“The first Positive case of Arunachal has tested Negative today after conducting 3rd test. He was kept in isolation for 13 days under observation of doctors. Repeat sample is being collected today again,” Arunachal CM Pema Khandu tweeted.
The person who hails from Tezu in Lohit district was earlier tested positive at the ICMR laboratory at Lahowal in Assam’s Dibrugarh district.
The patient had also attended the Tablighi Jamaat event at Nizamuddin Markaz in Delhi.
