Arunachal Pradesh celebrates India’s 75 years of Independence

Chief Minister Tamang said urged all the government employees of the State to serve the state with utmost sincerity and dedication.
Arunachal Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang unfurled the national flag on the occasion of Independence Day, a celebration held at Namchi Bhaichung Stadium this morning.
This is the first time that the State Level Independence Day celebration was held outside the State capital in view of the main stadium which is under renovation.
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Tamang said urged all the government employees of the State to serve the state with utmost sincerity and dedication, so that their services can be a huge contribution to the nation.
Tamang further said that the state government is tirelessly working to uplift the people’s living standards, adding that the state government focuses on the health and education sector that major changes have been seen in the health sector.
He stressed improving the services in the health sector and appointed all the required medical and paramedical manpower to fulfill the void created by the previous government.
Highlighting the lunches at Mobile Village Clinics, Tamang said that to improve the health sector from grassroots levels, dedicated medical officers, staff nurses, and minimum testing facilities will be available.
Chief Minister also announced that maternity leave will be extended to all the female employees of the Sikkim government from six months to one year.
Earlier this year the State government extended maternity leave to only female school teachers. With this extension of the scheme across the female government employees, the Chief hopes that the declining fertility rate may be increased.
