BJP contested all 60 Assembly seats. Congress contested 19 seats only. NPP contested in 20, NCP in 15 seats and the People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) in 11 seats.

- Total 8.8 (8,82,816) lakh voters – 4,33,760 are male voters and 4,49,050 female voters.
- 2,226 polling stations
- 133 candidates fought for 50 Assembly seats
- Total candidates 143 for 60-member Arunachal Assembly

- There are 13 Independent candidates in the fray.
- 80 candidates are first-time candidates. 8 women candidates in fray — the highest in any Assembly election so far.
