Arunachal: NIT Director calls on Governor BD Mishra

Professor P Mahanta, who recently took over the charge of director of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh called on Governor BD Mishra at Raj Bhavan.

The Director briefed the governor about the institution. During their interaction, Governor BD Mishra advised the director to make concerted efforts in creating conducive academic ambience in the NIT campus.

He emphasized on discipline, punctuality, and innovation among the students and the faculty, besides ensuring cleanliness in the institution.

Professor Mahanta assured the governor of marked improvement in the NIT in the coming days.

Commissioner to Governor, Surya Prakash, Joint Secretary to Governor, Mamata Riba Naksang and NIT Registrar Professor M Shome were also present in the meeting.
